Ottobrenero has been orbiting the Sun since 2015 with the ambition to host the most incompatible life forms in the universe. Scandinavian metal, dark waves, progressive experiments and Italian songwriting gave birth to Mercurio in 2016. In 2020 the band returns to host even more life in a less hostile but uncomfortable and whimsical environment, the EP Venerea, twin of Idi.
